DIsney+ Bundled with contract renewal. How to get rid of it

I am trying to renew my contract for Broadband and it appears that Virgin have bundled a subscription for Disney+ into my renewal contract. This is not something that I have selected as an add-on. It is also not something that I need as I am already paying for Disney+ subscription independantly of Virgin and I have no interest in paying again.

Please can someone advise me as to how I can get rid of this bundled add-on that I do not want? A telephone advisor was more interested in trying to sell me an upgrade package then help me with this, so I'd appreciate some help.

Is the subscription causing you any inconvenience, or in any way interrupting your existing use of Disney+ ?

If not, and the subscription is included in your bundle, then removal could well cause more problems than it resolves. You could be advised to just leave it.

It comes at additional cost on top of the subscription fee. In effect, they will add the fee onto my monthly bill. No thank you.

From your second reply, "if not part of your core bundle" - is there a separate & individual charge listed for it?

If not, I suspect it's merely "inclusive"

There is no pricing listed anywhere for it.

Then almost certainly you aren't paying separately for it, and the service is part of your monthly subscription.

VM staff will likely be along in a day or so, and may be able to confirm specifics after taking you through security by PM.

Hi @JSWood thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.

Sorry for any confusion around the Disney+. In regard to the screenshot you've posted, is this for a pending package change? A brand new account? Or was this sent to you some time ago and you've had one or more bills since you received that documentation? As you've reached out to us, I'm going to send you a private message. Please keep an eye on your inbox in the top right of your screen.
