Contract renewal

My virgin media contract is due to end in May. On the 17th February I received an email from virgin media offering to renew the same package that I currently have for a little bit extra, I accepted this offer and have a confirmation email dated 20th Feb, but I am still receiving notifications that my contract is due to end, I have not received anything else in connection to new package. I am confused by this and uncertain if contract has been renewed.
