I gave notice to quit VM. The contract ended on the 10th December 2023. My actual contract finished on 2nd December. But VM decided my bill would rise from £39.99 to £84.99 within that short period before disconnection. I made several phone calls to a bunch of morons who assured me I would get a refund. VM took £84.99 from my account in January. I rang several more times and was assured I'd be refunded as I was with my new provider from the 7th December. They have now taken £3.84 from my account saying the balance was refunded. Well there is no money in my bank. These tactics remind me of a tv drama I've just watched about the post office! Either there is a glitch in the system or the staff are incredibly incompetent. It's about time somebody showed the public what sort of company they are!

Hi Bananna,
Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, sorry to hear you had bills generated after giving your 30 days notice, when 30 days notice is given your bills will continue as normal up until the services go off, if you gave notice on 2nd December bills would continue up until 1st January, as bills are 1 month in advance the charge for the package once discount had ended may have started before the services had disconnected, apologies if you were unaware this would happen, if you would like us to take a closer, look out for the white envelope to join our private chat.
Regards
Paul.
