So me and my family and in a situation where we're about to be served a section 21 because the landlord wants to move back into the house. We have until the 20th to move out so after that, I won't be needing internet as we might be staying at someone else's house so it makes sense that I can't bring my internet over.
Now, I had a chat with an agentn and explained the situation, but they either want me to add more services to get more discounts, which is going to increase the price, not decrease it or pay £500 to cancel... This is utter madness in this situation, they should at least put in the offert to understand today's cost of living crysis... So what do I do? I've been a loyal customer for over 13 years and after being treated with manipulations and price increases every year, they want to pretty much take my potential rent money... I'm already mentally down as it is, and now I have to worry about this?

Well ideally we don't want it to get to that. Both my parents are elderly and my dad has some heart problems that would make it worse knowing he's being evicted by a court and that bailiffs can be involved. Anyway, knowing the landlord and the family he has living around out area, it might not even get to that it might be worse and I don't want that stress for my family, it's stressful as it is and now this...
I get having to pay a cancellation fee, even a £50 one but £500? Does customer loyalty now account for anything these days...?
