Being kicked out the house, VM wants me to pay £500 to cancel after 13 years

So me and my family and in a situation where we're about to be served a section 21 because the landlord wants to move back into the house. We have until the 20th to move out so after that, I won't be...

Not nice. The VM forum team might be able to help but will probably need sight of the s21 once issued to you.

    Well ideally we don't want it to get to that. Both my parents are elderly and my dad has some heart problems that would make it worse knowing he's being evicted by a court and that bailiffs can be involved. Anyway, knowing the landlord and the family he has living around out area, it might not even get to that it might be worse and I don't want that stress for my family, it's stressful as it is and now this...

    I get having to pay a cancellation fee, even a £50 one but £500? Does customer loyalty now account for anything these days...?
