landline calls temporarily unavailable?

so my house phone. i can call mobiles but i cannot call landlines. i get message SORRY THIS MUMBER IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. i get this with ALL landlines i try to call.

Are you keying the full number including area code, e.g. 020 8123 4567.

This can be caused by a problem with the local BT exchange interconnect. Check the service status for faults. If it is still not working after the Bank Holiday & no faults are indicated then contact customer services.

I am sorry to hear you are having some issues calling other landlines.

Can you confirm if you are using the area coding when dialing the number?

Are you receiving calls okay?

"Sorry, this number is Temporarily Unavailable. Please try again later" messages usually mean you are dialling correctly. I had a VoIP phone a while ago, & if I disconnected it from the router for any reason callers would get this message.
