We have been transferred to Broadband with our home phone. Is the a VOIP that I can purchase the plugs straight into the router and keeps my existing number.

Welcome to our community forums and thank you for your first post. We want to do our best to help. Just to confirm are you asking if there is a specific handset you can use to connect the landline? Generally, we would provide an adapter as seen here which can be used on most devices. Is your existing number your current VM number or from another provider? Are you looking to port this over to VM? Please get in contact with us when you can so we can help.

Current VM phones through the hub do not use VoIP, but sometime in the future they will. You can purchase a VoIP service from many providers and transfer your number over from VM. They often include an adapter, that plugs into an Ethernet port, so you use your original handset. Alternatively you can purchase full function IP handsets that just plug into Ethernet.
