My landline has failed and can dial out or in after multiple calls to solve still no joy, have been told they will migrate me to the new service, but not been done so called back today to say sadly the line can't be migrated as the government has stopped it?? anyone else heard or had this issue?

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your landline service.
I have taken a look on our side and it looks as though a colleague has already arranged an engineer visit for this.
