Landline not working...check cord error

Just joined

Our landline has stopped husband is ill at the moment and we have carers coming in daily.  My son is trying to find out what's wrong but everything is connected as it should be.  We urgently need our phone to work again. Its giving a 'connect cord' error.  There are no shown issues on our postcode at this time.

Can you confirm if you're experiencing any issues with any other services such as broadband or TV? Do you connect the landline base unit via a wall socket or the back of the Hub?
