Yesterday I had a problem with my landline.
After a helpful conversation, on the community, I got an engineer's visit arranged, then the fault was corrected or corrected itself, so the visit is not required.
Have spent this morning trying to cancel the visit. I have got the same response if I try and cancel on-line, via the text sent when the appointment was confirmed and by using 150 on the phone.
The result is always that there is nothing wrong with my system, but they want to do a hub re-boot. Why when all I want to do is cancel a visit?
Is there an easier way to cancel the visit?

Hi @Tony461,
Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry to hear that you're having some trouble cancelling a scheduled engineer appointment.
I can see from another thread that you made that you spoke with one of my colleagues who invited you into a private chat, which I assume from context is about arranging the appointment initially. If you respond to the latest message there (if you haven't done so already) requesting for it to be cancelled, they'll respond to assist you with this ASAP.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply
I did responded to to Molly_T yesterday, cancelling the visit, but I was worried with the weekend and the fact that the visit is on Monday.
I did ask for the visit to be cancelled on the chat yesterday, but did not receive an acknowledgement. If I phone on 150 I am told I still have a visit outstanding. Basically I am trying to avoid wasting an engineer's time.
I was also confused with the difficulty in trying to cancel on-line
Thanks
Tony
