Calling a virgin landline - Ringtone had changed

Since my landline switched over and now plugs into my router, those calling me have mentioned that the ringtone now sounds like an international call with a long ring rather than the traditional Brit...

Although a new handset has been tried, this ring tone is heard by people calling my number and not by me mak8ng an outgoing call.  I have tried to call my landline number from my mobile and also others have tried calling from a number of other landline and mobile suppliers.  In short, if you call my landline, you will hear a ringing sound not to dissimilar to that if you were calling another country, such as the USA rather than the traditional ring-ring.
