Landline Cant Receive Calls

Like many others over the last year, i had Virgin Fibre installed yesterday and now have a broken phone.

My landline goes straight to voicemail when someone calls it. I can only make calls out.

I have a hub4 and everything is connected exactly as the engineer did it yesterday. Service status is fine. I already did a 60 second reset to fix not being able to log into the router config.

  • Issue has been resolved by removing Virgins BT to RJ11 adapter and using my own RJ11 to RJ11 cable.

    An issue which could surely have been easily avoided had Virgin simply supplied an RJ11 cable instead of an adapter. Or the engineer stayed long enough to test that things like the phone and that im able to log into the router config page...
