pop3.virginmedia.com Port 995
Tested account settings, got
Got following error messages
Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): The operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
Send test e-mail message: Cannot send the message. Verify the e-mail address in your account properties. The server responded: 530 5.1.0 Authentication Required (VM401)
Changed:-
Incoming to pop.ntlworld.com, Port 110
Outgoing to smtp.ntlworld.com, Port 25
Got
Error message
Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
Last time I set up Outlook, I had used :-
pop.ntlworld.com, Port 110
smtp.ntlworld.com, Port 25

I can't see the images sorry they haven't loaded up.
Can you confirm if you are using Outlook 2013?
If so this is something we wouldn't support now as its over ten year old there is no updates for this anyone as its all merged into newer version.
If you could try download the update for it to bring it the latest Outlook the settings should work fine.
Please let me know.
Can you also confirm if it works logging in here. Cheers

pop.ntlworld.com, Port 110
smtp.ntlworld.com, Port 25
In the first screen shot you need to select one of the password options: use same settings incoming or enter your username and password in the fields shown.
In the second screen shot you need to tick the box 'this server requires an encrypted connection' After ticking this make sure that the port number is reset to 995.
