I have an ntlworld account that was hacked which I reported to virgin media and action fraud etc. I am now no longer a virgin media customer and left nearly a year ago yet the account is still active and I am still receiving threatening emails. I have recently twice contacted virgin to get the email account closed and yet nothing has happened. What can I do as I have no access to shut the account down and it is impacting my health with the threats and demands? Any help would be welcome please

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your email account and trying to get this closed, the team should have been able to get this done the first time that you asked to do that. What have you been advised about this the times that you have attempted to log the issue to get your email removed from our systems? Do you know if anything has been logged and do you have any references? Any issues logged can take up to 5 working days to be resolved, so this may have been raised the last time that you spoke to the team.

I have at last managed to get this shut down thanks goodness. Previous answers were always that they would send it over to the IT department but I was given no references. The last time someone on here actually gave me ref number and it is now gone
