My (emailaddress) email has disappeared

Just after 1:00 pm this afternoon (15/4/2024) i stooped receiving emails to my email address. On signing in to my online email account, i find that the email address not there in the emails section. Only my other bluryonder one. I try to re add it but i get the message "The provided password for the e-mail address (emailaddress) is incorrect" Any ideas? please help.

Sorry to hear of the email account issues, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this via the forums.


Can you confirm if you're still an active Virgin Media customer? If not, after 90 days the email account may be closed down. What happens when you try to sign into the account? Do you get any error messages?


Can you try the following steps and reset the password to see if that then allows access?


  • Sign in to My Virgin Media
  • Go to Account settings, then Account details
  • Tap Manage next to Manage your Virgin Media Mail app password under Virgin Media Mail
  • Then, under Virgin Media Mail app password tap Get password
  • Continue the flow and a new secure password will be generated, and the mailbox unlocked
  • Update any third-party apps that may be use to access your Virgin Media Mail emails with this new app password.
