Sorry, but this is a complete joke now. For weeks the email service has gradually been getting worse and worse - emails not turning up, then a group of emails about 4 days old suddenly appear, some even weeks old! Now I can't even log into my email account via Thunderbird at all - it just hangs!.I've deleted the account, uninstalled Thunderbird, reinstalled Thunderbird and the account with correct server details etc,...but nothing. I've been with Virgin for years and have used Thunderbird for years. I have an ntlworld email address. Is this Virgin's way of gradually eradicating old email users. I guess it's time to leave. But it's created a load of problems with my work, and now I've lost a couple of jobs, because of my 'lack of response'!! - serves me right for constantly hanging on thinking the problem will get resolved!!. Joke.
Since yesterday Virgin has shown this on the My Virgin Media page of their website:-
"Customers may be experiencing intermittent issues logging into their email accounts and receiving emails, our teams are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible".
It seems that that is all Virgin are prepared to say, despite all the various issues that have been reported on this forum continuing day after day with no sign of being fixed.
