Still no email access since 11pm Sunday, what on Earth are they doing?.....

REALLY not good. Had a couple of e-mails yesterday night, nothing since then and expecting important documents. I sincerely hope you fix this SOON and also provide info on WHY this happened

I am seeing the same results as @countyexile. Very frustrating not having any feedback as to both the problem and likely resolution time. CityFibre have recently cabled my street and they are looking a very attractive alternative at the moment.

Thanks.. but better comms would be great!! No notifications on mobile, etc.

Yesterdays outage came back just before advised time, but only a few e-mails received.

Just realised nothing coming through today, until seeing this thread. Very poor comms on VM site.. basically saying

Sorry, we can’t run a test on your services right now

We are aware of ongoing issues with our Virgin Media email services

VM App says should be fixed by 4pm... wait and see.

@DorMike I very much doubt that Cityfibre offer an email service.  A lot of posters here seem to be confusing email service providers with internet service providers.  Very few ISPs now offer an email service. Virgin Media joined that club last May when they stopped issuing email addresses to new customers or allowing existing customers to create new email accounts.

Blueyonder had started working again both on Webmail and email client but now is not working on PC client.  Virgin media not working on either now, at one point this morning webmail was and showed the same group of messages repeated over and over again.

A handful of emails trickled in last night, mid-evening, but I've not received a single one since then.

Bizarrely, one that did arrive last night was from VM saying:

"Congratulations! You have a new rank in the Virgin Media Help & Support Community. You''re shooting through the ranks faster than a packet at 152Mb. Bravo! ... Your new rank is Dialled inCongrats! We hope you''ll stick around. It''s really nice having you here to keep us company in the community."

What on earth does "Dialled in" mean? And why couldn't VM devote the miniscule bandwidth to delivering me a proper Email?

The children at VM need to grow up, and fast.

So, having got something working yesterday it seems the Servers stopped again a little after 2300.

I got one email at 0446 today but nothing since.  And I see the moderator updated the first post on this thread an hour ago.  I just hope they haven't lost any incoming!!  (cf Eric_T and my last posts.)
