Cannot access my Ntlworld.com emails via outlook, your technical have supposed looked at the many times.

You tecnical staff have supposedly tried to resolve this and some have eascaled to other groups with no success, They have changed my username from my ntlworld.com email which has been my account name for 20> years to an gmail address and nothing . This has been going on from 16th June 23. sometimes I have lost total access to these email but have eventually got access back but I have to use  webmail access but my other emails addresses are still working via outlook (e.g my wifes email address)  but mine isn't and the ntle mail address is my mail account. Please help me get this resolved

Have request forum moderator redact your curl output because it reveals your public IP Address, email address and password.

You need to generate an App Password for use with email clients. To do this sign into My Virgin Media and select Account settings > Virgin Media Mail settings > Generate  new App password — use the newly generated App Password with email clients

Hey Armdalesyd, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry to hear this.

Is this username to login into my Virgin Media or the actually emails?

If so sometimes it needs a 3rd party email to help it run smoothly, what happens when you try and login that way do you get an error code?

Do all emails load properly? Cheers

Hi Mathew, the NTL email was my VirginMedia account usernale until I was told by a member of VM customer services that I needed to provide a different email to use as my VM account username which I did so the info you have is the email afddress I cannot access via Outlook which I have used for years on various devices and OS's.I believe I am seeing my emails now but have to use the website.

To clarify are you now able to access the email and this is resolved or do you still require assistance.

Thanks for coming back to us on this one. 

If you're able to access the mails via webmail then it sounds like you just need to generate a new app password to be able to view the mails with a client or app. 

To do this, log in to My VM > Account Settings > Virgin Media Mail settings > Generate new app password. It will send a verification code to your username address (which should be a third party email address). Once you receive this, pop the code in and it will give you an app password. 

On your mail client or mail app, update the password and this should allow your emails to be accessible again.
