Hi
Now that I am moving my @ntlworld.com account over to my @gmail.com account, I have enabled auto-forwarding , which seems to work well. However, it only auto-forwards from the date I enabled it. Is it possible to forward "historical" email that is, before I enabled auto-forward? There are some emails that I want to keep for either important business matters or sentimental ones.

Your auto forward will only work as it is now. You will need to manually export all the previous emails to a file and import them into your new Gmail.
