Hi, went to watch something on Netflix on my Fire TV Cube connected to my Samsung TV and it wouldn’t open the content - it sort of froze. So I deleted the app cache to no avail and started getting the error codes above which seemed to point to network errors. The Netflix error page showed all four of its servers as fine. So I deleted the app data, signed in again and got the same error. Deleting and re-installing the app ended up the same. So I switched to my Fire TV Max 4k stick which is also plugged into that same TV and got the same errors. I even tried my Samsung TV native Netflix app in case it was a Fire TV issue, but no, it also failed.
So I rebooted my Virgin Hub and Netgear router and again got the same codes across the board - BUT the strange thing is that I can open the Netflix app on my iPad Air 13 which is connected to WiFi on the same router/hub and it works ok.
So am I safe in assuming that Netflix in effect might be having issues with set top boxes and TVs while its delivery to apps is ok, and that my network (router/hub/VirginMedia) are fine?
It’s got me scratching my head…
Anyone else coming across this or have any suggestions as to why I’m getting the failures I am, but my iPad connected to the same network is fine?

Hi, just checked downdetector for Netflix UK and appears I’m not alone. Please ignore my post…
