Stream Remote to control AppleTV
Is it possible or has anyone have their virgin remote also control the AppleTV?

Unfortunately not. Apart from volume control on a TV or Amp, input select on a TV, and turning on, I don't think that the Steam remote can control anything else, and none of us have found another remote that can control the Stream box.
Your TV remote will almost certainly be able to control the Apple box, so that may reduce the number of remotes you need.
