Hi new to Virgin after a long time with Sky but wondering if there is anyway of adjusting the brightness of the light on the stream box ? We have one in the bedroom and the brightness at night seems too bright as it lights up the room with a white light.

Sorry to hear of your concerns with the light on your Stream box. There is no option to reduce the brightness of the LED on the frame of the box within the settings.
The white light means the box is on and working as it should. If you place the box in standby mode, the night should be blue. Alternatively, you can switch the box off and remove it from power to completely turn off the light.
Are you sure it's a Stream box and not a mini 360 box? You can attach the Stream box to the back of your TV. You could place masking tape over the light on both boxes.
