Linking Boxes?

We're new to VM having been with Sky for over 24 years, so it's taking a bit of getting used to.

One problem we have is adding programmes to the Watch List. We had our main Sky Q box in one room and a second box in the kitchen, so anything added to recordings could be accessed on both boxes. However, we can't seem to do that with the 2 VM boxes we have now.

Is there any way to link the boxes as we are having to add things on both boxes separately?

What VM boxes do you have currently? That dictates the answer!

Is it a TV360 master & TV360 mini? Is it like these 2 boxes, one being half the height of the other?

      Hi.

it's neither of those, just these small streaming boxes. To be honest, when it was sold to me I was told it was pretty much the same as Sky Q. Now we've had it a couple of weeks, it clearly isn't.

No, unfortunately it’s not a SkyQ equivalent, it is a Sky Stream equivalent (though some think it’s better than the Sky product). Are you on a full fibre connection (fibre goes directly into a Hub5x)? If you are you have no choice but to take the streaming product. The V360 recording product is a broadcast receiver & requires connection to Virgin’s traditional copper coax TV/DOCSIS network to operate. They cannot be used in the new full fibre only areas.
