Packet loss in R6 Siege

Past 2 days, I've been getting very bad packet loss but only while playing Rainbow six siege every other game so far seems fine. I tested everything and done all the basic troubleshooting, the only semi fix I have managed is to use a VPN which lessens the packet loss otherwise it's unplayable. It seems I am also not the only one experiencing this with VM either as a few friends have the same problem.

  • I've setup a BQM and been testing a few games and all good, gonna test r6 siege over the next few days and ill report back

  • Still doing it, I played last night and during a firefight i got Jitter and froze and obviously died, I recorded it again if you need to see the video

      Thanks for coming back and updating us on this one. 

      Is the BQM that you have running showing any issues during the times you're noticing the jitter? 

      Based on the checks we've done here, all is looking good. As your connection overall is good too and the only issue is when gaming, we can only assume it's something to do with the servers. It may be worth contacting them directly for further help on this.

    Hi I sometimes get packet loss on r6

    Try forwarding ports that uplay and siege use. It can't do any harm at all.

    It probably won't make any difference but worth a try I have done it. 

    Also for all u guys and gals getting this issue can u tell me what hub and firmware it's running. 

    I heard LG-RDK_6.9.35-2302.6 this one was apparently causeing a lot of packet loss and drops for people

  • last 3 days BQM is showing alot of packet loss but before that it was showing nothing, has nothing been changed?

  • did you ever get a fix for this son's havig same issue ive tried on his xbox and on my pc and getting the same packet loss only on siege

      I'm sorry to hear about the package loss you are having on Siege. 😢
      Are you able to share the results from a BQM graph? A broadband quality monitor graph?

      This way we can see where the packet loss is when the services are being used. 🔍
