DMZ not working for PS5

I can’t seem to get my NAT to change from Type 2 to Type 1 (Open). I’ve tried port forwarding and placing my PS5 in the DMZ and neither are working.

I have a brand new Hub 5. Can someone please help me resolve this?

    You need to put hub in modem mode with a better router with 1Gb ports or better

    On a better router you can the hub router mode for NAT is a problem

      Yeah I meant on the one Virgin supplied, sorry. It’s wild that I need to buy another router for this to work. Cheers for that Virgin…

    Type 1 you can only get from modem mode, but type 2 can still be an open nat. Im open on my ps5 and mines type 2. I will add using a vpn or having another game console on same games can make it go moderate or strict if this helps 🙂
