connection cuts out when on VRchat VR mode

so we got our virgin WIFI not long ago, since we have had it i haven't been able to get on vrchat in VR but only in vr it works fine on desktop, as soon as I get in to in to vr and get on the game my pc complete loses connection, my phone still has it i go down and check the router and app and it all says its fine, this only stops when I shut down the game, i think it worked maybe once since we have had virgin like a week ago but it hasn't since then. for reference I'm using a valve index, but even if i switch to the quest pro head set it still doesn't work does anyone know why and how to fix this?
