Verification email never arrives in time.

Been trying to register my account all day but these verification emails take about an hour to come through. They only have a 10 minute shelf life. And after the calls I’ve made today I can confer that this is probably the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Anyone know anything I can do?
