Unable to access Primary Email

I have given it well over a week before contacting. Since the Virgin/O2 ID merge/ debacle I have been unable to access my Primary Email, on my Tablet, mobile,DeskTop.When I try to access via Outlook etc I keep getting password not recognised etc. The password I KNOW was correct prior to merging of account Ive tried  changing ID password to no effect. I can assess all secondary accounts no problems on all devices. I am able to access primary via MY  EMAIL in vigin app on desktop but not on any devices. I am going abroard in 7 days and need to access this email account and I dont think carry a desktop computer as hand luggage will be practicably. Will this issue ever be fixed.

  • If you are using an email app or client to access your emails you are likely to need an app password, especially if you changed your password when signing into the VMO2 ID.

To create an email app password or update an existing one you need to follow these steps:

Sign into the My Virgin media account for the email concerned with your VMO2ID
    Select Account Settings
    Select Identity & Security Settings
    Select Manage your products
    Select Manage email app password
Click on the blue button 'Get New Password'

Make a note of the generated password.  This is what you use in the mail apps along with the vm email address as the username.
