Some of my emails have disappeared

Hello,

Last week, around 200-250 of my emails from 9/7/2023 to 30/11/2023 were randomly deleted from my inbox. I can confirm that I have not done this in error.

Strangely enough, the same thing happened at the start of November. I called Virgin Media immediately, and they restored the emails within 24 hours.

However, after spending several hours on the phone with them this time around, they've told me they can't help me and have really messed me about.

I would appreciate any help.

    Thanks for your post.

    Sorry to hear about the emails going missing again.

    Can we ask if this is over our webmail or through a 3rd party client like outlook?

      I use Thunderbird as my desktop email client, and the email app on my iPhone.

        Have you also checked your webmail to see if the emails have vanished from there too?

    Virginmedia don't keep email backups, they expect users to do that. But do look into the webmail again and see if there are any filter settings that may stop some emails from being displayed.
