My wife's VM e-mail account was hacked. I went onto my VM account and noticed that her account was no longer listed but an unrecognised gmail account was. I deleted that gmail address but I am now concerned that I may have deleted my wife's account if that was now amended by the hacker to that gmail address. What can I do to recover my wife's VM e-mail account please? Many thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear of your concerns with your wife's email. We aren't able to change a Virgin Media email to another client email, like Gmail or Outlook for example.
Was the email linked to the primary online account, or was this an older email that was linked to an older closed account, maybe?
How was the gmail account listed in your MyVM account? Could this be the non VM account that VM now require for access to MyVM?
If you have deleted a VM email account on line, rather on a remote app, there is nothing you can do to recover it. It's just possible that VM can do so, but I wouldn't rely on it
