Outlook wont sync my ntlworld.com email addresses

Suddenly this week outlook has stopped syncing my ntlworld.com email address and giving me the password prompt, i put the correct password in and it rejects it. I can access my mail on my ipad and phone and via the VM webemail but not outlook.  I am a current VM customer so its not the ex customer axe.

    Just to confirm, are you unable to access the e-mail address in question, via Outlook, on a specific device or several devices? Also, when you say you can access your mail on your iPad and phone, is that through an e-mail app?

  • I cant access  new emails or sync when using outlook 365 on my PC running Win10

    it gives the error

    Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for **********@ntlworld.com.' reported error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for **********@ntlworld.com. Error: Cannot connect to the server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

    If I use the standard mail on my ipad or the standard android mail on my phone then I get emails and they can sync each other. I can log on to VMs web mail and see the emails on my PC but not via outlook

    I also have a secondary ntlworld email address which I cant access, if I try and log on via VMs web mail  it says wrong password, tried the forgotten password link and it says cant find credentials and call VM, I havent yet because I need to build up my anti-frustration reserves for the VM call centre runaround.

      Sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues with your email account.

      Can you confirm if you have tried removing the mailbox from Outlook and then try adding it again?
