My VM login and email

I am unable to login to my VM account to view my emails. I go through the new procedure and it says I have to provide a backup email account which I have done. It then sends me a link to that backup email for me to verify it is me. I verify it is me and it confirms that and then the screen goes blank after a few seconds.

So I then try to login to my VM account and it takes me back through the above procedure. But I still can not access my VM account to check my emails.

THIS IS NOW BEYOND A JOKE. I HAVE TRIED TO PHONE VM AND HAVE WAITED FOR A VERY LONG TIME BEFORE THE CALL JUST GETS CANCELLED. 

SO VM, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW??

    We are in the same position.Is it because we are @blueyonder?

    Not technically adept and can't believe they gave no warning, would dump Virgin but it's the only provider with decent broadband speeds in our area.

  • Yesterday when I tried to log into webmail it told me I had to change how 8 logged into my virgin media so I'd use the same email to access webmail as MVM. Went through the whole process, yes it works logging into MVM but not webmail. I can no longer log in directly or using the email link on MVM. Luckily I can access through my outlook account on my PC but only when I'm at home! So once i get a quiet moment at work this morning it'll be my turn to wait on a queue 

  • The same thing happens to me. I have to keep verifying it's me then nothing. I can log in to my ntlworld emails and can send emails, but I haven't received any, other than (strangely)  2 spam emails which went in to my spam box, for nearly 3 days now.

  • So I have yet again tried to login to my VM account and am getting totally frustrated. I just keep going round in circles.  Try to login. Enter email address and password. It then tells me that I have to enter a backup email account. I do that - using another Gmail account. It sends a link to that and I verify it is me. The screen closes after a few seconds then nothing.

    So YET AGAIN I try to login to my VM account and the STUPID system sends me round and round and round that loop time after time.

    So I try to phone VM which is impossible as you just NEVER GET AN ANSWER.

    WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO AS NOTHING IS GETTING FIXED.

      I just had to go through that rigmarole.
      What would happen if someone guessed/or knew your email address and then supplied their own private email address for the verification? :-(

  • Same here go through the process then says unable to link accounts even though it says it has found my account? It’s now locked me out on my phone as well so I cannot access my emails at all and I’m the same as a few others an @blueyonder mail ?
