I've not received emails since the 18th. On my android phone default email app I'm continually told there was a problem signing in and am asked to enter my password again but it always gives me 'sign in failed'. On the Virgin Media website I can't log in either and it says,
"You might find that your Virgin Media Mail isn’t working at the moment. We are sorry and working hard to restore your Mail service as quickly as possible."
Every day the service status says engineers in my area are aware of the problem and it should be fixed by xx pm that day but it still hasn't been fixed. The latest says by 8pm tonight. I don't hold out much hope for that.
I waited about 25 minutes on the phone earlier today before I got to speak to someone at Virgin Media customer services/tech support. I was informed that the problem is at Virgin Media's end and not an issue with my password and that they'll let me know when it's fixed. I don't mind the odd outage of internet but this is beyond ridiculous now. I can't even log into a forum I frequent because for security reasons they periodically email a verification code as part of the login process and of course I can't receive any emails. I do hope this gets resolved soon.
Edit: Seems to be mostly resolved now.
