Left VM and require email account deleting
After finally getting to a position where we can stop using our ntlworld.com email accounts, and having left VM for a better (and cheaper) full fibre ISP, I took steps to delete the secondary email accounts today. However, there is another account that I seemingly cannot delete - this was previously used as the primary email address when I first joined VM.
I’ve 2 questions I’m hoping someone can answer -
1) For the secondary email accounts that I’ve deleted, how long does it take before they are actually and finally deleted? I appreciate they won’t become inactive immediately but don’t know how long it takes for them to finally die.
2) Can someone from VM please contact me in relation to the email account that I cannot delete.
Thanks in advance.

If you delete them yourself from your primary Virgin Media account then it does seem to be instantaneous. However, it may be that VM just removes access straight away but leaves the mailbox still live for a period of time.
However you can check whether the mailbox is still live by sending a test email to that email address and seeing if you get a non delivery email back. Alternatively you can enter the address into an email verifier such as this one https://tools.emailhippo.com/ and see if it comes up with the response "bad".

Users cannot delete primary email accounts but one ot the Forum Team (VM staff who support this forum) can arrange that for you. They deal with each post in turn so it willbe a day or so before they contcat you via this thread.
Once they have put in the deletion request it normally seems to take a few days for the account to be deleted. Once again you can check it's been done by sending a test email of by using an email verifier.
