Email not working on apps

I recently changed my VM password, setting up passkeys. I can log in to my account online and get onto webmail but I can't get any email in the mail app on my iPhone. I requested a new app password but the password didn't work. I tried deleting the Virgin Media email account within the app on my phone and setting up again but the 'new app password' still didn't work. I just get a message saying 'Virgin Media cannot be contacted'. How can I get emails downloading/displaying in my mail app again?

  • This is also happening with Apple Mail on my son's and my partner's phones so it isn't an issue with my device.

      Thanks for your post Louise741, and we're sorry to hear of the issues with the mail application on the multiple iPhone, concerning the E-Mail account(s).

      Have you possibly checked to see if the application(s) are currently running the correct settings to accommodate our E-Mail address(es)?

  • Yes, I was running the correct settings but just kept getting 'Virgin Media Unavailable' message when trying to set up the account. However, it has now started working on my phone.
