Can’t Log In

So this started as trying to get outgoing emails to work once again but has turned into just trying to access my account.

I have an old ntlworld email and read I need to log in to get an app password or something, thats when the problem starts. When I log in using that ntlworld address with the correct password the next page I see is that I need to add a second email for security. So I add the email, receive the verification link and use it, it then logs me out to the start again. Upon logging in with the ntlworld account the second time it once again asks me to enter a second email address for security. 

I’ve tried various browsers, cleared cache before and during the process, tried on my phone and ipad but nothing works.

Please help.
