VM comes top for broadband reliability

But rock bottom for value for money.

This is according to an interesting new survey by Expert Reviews of some 2500 broadband customers across the UK.

Vodafone comes out particularly well in the survey - closely shadowing Zen in most areas.

TalkTalk comes out worst overall.

As usual the smaller ISPs (who often offer better service) aren't included.

  • According to the , Expert Reviews Broadband Awards 2025: The results | Expert Reviews UK Virgin Media topped the charts for broadband reliability but ranked poorly for value for money. The survey, which included responses from around 2500 broadband customers across the UK, highlighted Vodafone as a strong performer, closely followed by Zen Internet. On the other hand, TalkTalk received the lowest overall ratings.

Smaller ISPs, which often provide better service, were not included in the survey.

      It's like there's an echo...

Buff - a quick question. Why did you stick my post through AI and then post the result as a reply to me? It feels off frankly.

Yes, I used AI tools, for quickness, and to polish up your post, did you find it incorrect? 😀

  • Uswitch also points to the reliability of the VM broadband network but gives Plusnet top marks overall for 2025

In fairness I've always had a good BB circuit with (exNTL)VM infrastructure.  Only had to have a repull when a builder went rogue and sliced the cable in two places!

However, I very, very rarely have any contact with them, which is a good thing I think when you are a regular reader of these threads .....  ;-)
