UK customer services

Hi I've just had notification that my bill is increasing hugely end of December so I called - as I always do - chose the option of wanting to leave as I can't afford what they're suggesting.  I got through to the overseas call centre, and asked how I speak to someone in the UK customer services and was just told I am racist 😞  I have had so many issues in the past speaking to someone who doesn't understand my accent, doesn't know the names of places I'm mentioning, i.e. where I live and it's the most infuriating conversation ever.  But to be called racist because I want to speak to someone who understands me - and - isn't incredibly rude has shocked me.  Anyone got any tips of how to get a UK person pleas e?

    Its pot luck   but getting a UK call seems more likely  first thing in the morning. If not try again another day  or put your cancellation in. UK retentions will likely  call you then.
