WiFi Pod Activation Issue

Hi there

After some help with the (black) WiFi pod that I was recently sent. Unfortunately I constantly get an ‘activation failed’ in the VM connect app. 

After raising the issue on the on the live chat, someone called me back to say because I was using a switch into the back of the hub (this is to give me more LAN ports) it wouldn’t connect. 

Anyway, I have since disconnected that and tried again, but same issue. When I run the self check it’s not telling me my hub needs a factory reset. Before I do that, is there anything else worth trying?

  • I had similar issues with my Hub 5 connection if the One WiFi optimised channel switching was turned off, the new black Wifi 6 pods refused to connect unless this option was selected.
