VM connection issues every 12 hours

I am using a hub5 in router mode and ever since starting my VM package I get these spikes every day at 12 hour intervals.

Is there anything that can be done?

Do you have any electrical equipment (heating perhaps) that's set on a timer to turn on/switch off at those times?

Looks typical I too see the odd spike in my BQM might be VM doing check under 10. in a way that spikes the connection but as least its not all the time.

or it could be Docsis has a hitch for some reason...

  • Hello CleverTortoise,

Thank you for informing us on the situation! As this shows a schedule of every 12 hours, this seems to be a systematic congestion on the network and not random. There could be multiple factors at play here, your hub could be performing internal tasks such as log rotations or channel scans which may result in these spikes. If one of your devices runs scheduled backups/updates/heavy tasks etc can affect the service and cause these spikes. The more information you can provide on the matter will be able for us to determine what it could be and we may be able to solve the issue  ðŸ˜€
