I can not seem to connect to any virgin media hotspots, the VM connect app doesn't even show hotspots on the dashboard or a map and when I try and check the status it just won't load anything.
How do I get this to work, it's an absolute joke trying speak to anyone at virgin, it's almost impossible which makes the customer aspect terrible and I just want to be able to use the features or my subscription
I use an android phone, Google pixel 6 to be specific, and currently running on android 14, had this issue for months though so would have also been on older versions too.
HarleyQuinn Virgin Media withdrew the WiFi hotspot provision in November 2023.
This was detailed in the price and service update emails sent to customers last spring.
Why is that when I have been looking and looking for the answer to this and contacted VM all they did was to tell me to follow the steps online??
Absolutely useless, I must have missed that email, and that's annoying but you would think it would tell you on your account or their website. It literally says hotspot and when you click it on that it just never loads.
And the tech guy at virgin failed to tell me that too, just told me to do all of the other steps the website says
