VM Connect app not recognising hub

Hello. I'm having problems for months with wi-fi constantly dropping out and have been trying to connect to the Hub 3 using the VM Connect app. I've never been able to do this, even when the iPhone is inches away from the router. Any ideas on fixes? I'm getting a bit tired of rebooting the hub and not being able to work more than a few feet away from it. Any advice gratefully received! R.

    VM's back office systems may not have correctly recorded your VM Hub.
    Rebooting the Hub is not a fix.

    Our preference is to use the Hub 3 admin menu
    and to not have the Connect app installed on any device.

    Sorry to hear of the connection issues with your wireless network and the frustration this is causing, we appreciate you taking the time to raise this with us via the forums.

     

    From checking the connection and equipment we can see the average download speed is 384Mbps and upload speed of 36Mbps, over the last seven days there a have been two disconnections from the network with the last being Wednesday 27th August. When you experience the disconnections, are they across all devices wireless or specific ones in certain locations around the property?

    In regards to the Connect App, connection issues usually stem from the Hub set up. If you have made any changes to your network such as splitting or renaming your SSID's or the passwords the app will look to optimise this. All of the SSID's and password matching is the best way for seamless connection.
