Unable to pause connection

I have been unable to pause/unpause connection to restrict devices on my WiFi for months now, I have called the customer services team and nothing has been done about it. How can I fix this even if it appears that my WiFi or MAC filtering has been bypassed?

    Use the Hub's admin console 192.168.0.1   The password is the settings one on the bottom unless you have changed it.  You can add/remove MAC addresses as you need.

    Note this can be bypassed by many devices that use MAC randomisation so it's not a 100% solution.

  • Same here, I can’t pause any devices, I don’t want a long and frustrating “work around” I just want the app that Virgin are so proud of to either work, or simply remove the features that they know don’t work and stop our frustration when trying to use them, I’m not surprised, I’d have been surprised if it did work. I’m not going to even bother asking Virgin why it doesn’t work as my past experiences have proved that they are incapable of giving an honest answer. 
    Unfortunately I’ve been forcibly added to the list of extremely unhappy and frustrated virgin media customers due to trying to get issues sorted.

    Yes it's broken. But MAC filtering does not work anyway with modern devices because they change their MAC address frequently.

    The only safe control of a device is physical control
