ive just purchased to link deco x 2,
we have a computer which is connected directly to the hub, my question is do you just put the tp link into the next ether net port above the one connected to the computer?
does this have any effect on the wired internet connection to the computer?

Which model of Deco?
You need to decide if you want to use the HUB for routing and wireless functions as well as the Deco, or use the Deco system exclusively, meaning putting the HUB in modem mode.
I require the hub to supply the hard wired computer but to fix the tplink to the hub to supply the Wi-Fi through out the house
