SNR / Dropout help please

Continued connection dropouts, after 4 engineer visits, multiple equipment changes, exec complaints team issues/no follow ups, I am at my wits end. Thank you

    Can we check… are your issues only evident on wifi connections or do you see them at the same times on devices connected on ethernet cables? If you don't know, can you check on one to help diagnose whether it is just a wifi issue or it could be network connection/Hub related?

    What devices are connected to the Hub on ethernet cables ?

    Then see this...

    If you haven’t already, set up a free, secure and “offlsite” - “Broadband Quality Monitor” to continually monitor the state of your connection and record any true network dropouts , latency issues, packet drops, etc - it will thus allow you to differentiate between those and simple wifi dropouts. It does it 24/7/365 and it keeps a visual record of any/all of your network disconnections, useful data to have to match to the Network logs (in your Hub settings) and also in discussions with VM - note it will take a few hours to start seeing a sensible picture - post up the “link” to the “share live graph”. Click the lower link (Share Live Graph) then, click generate. Copy the text in the Direct Link box, beware, there may be more text than you can see. On here click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon) In the URL box paste the link you copied and then click OK

    You need to get some meaningful stats as they are accumulative since the hub was last power cycled. So power cycle the hub and post a set of stats after 1 hour. This will show how quickly they are happening. By the way, you do not need to logon to get the stats, just 

    • Click on the “> Check router status” button on the first screen.

    I’ve also not seen T2 stats like yours.

      RFoG. Downstream is broken. VM should verify only this customer impacted, verify optical power, clean fibres, replace ONU, then in whatever order change CBT port, and if still broken new fibre drop and redo of coax internally as necessary.

        Hi Sabrina,

        I had my 5th engineer visit this afternoon, who replaced the copper interior connectors/adapters with fibre ones.

        This has not resolved the issues, seemingly has exacerbated them and in fact my internet is now dropping in and out almost every 2 minutes. 

         

        Logs below. I have a complaint open with the exec team but also continuing the conversation here for visibility.
