Hi for some reason my router is now connecting my computer on 2.4mhz not 5mhz the difference is its dropped from over 200 to 40ish and keeps buffering I tried to get on the router with the password from the back of the router it says it wrong so I tried my own default Password it says thats wrong where do \i go from here
Assuming the Hub is broadcasting on both the 2.4 & 5 GHz band the computer is selecting which band to use.
Make sure you are using the HUB Password for the admin menu (i.e. not the Wi-Fi password).
If the PC is choosing 2.4ghz it may be the wifi signal is too weak to sustain a strong 5Ghz signal. Have a think about either a cabled connection (the best) or using an additional wifi extender.
