Red light on VM hub 3

Hi, I have had a red light on my Hub 3 for about 5 weeks or so. I chatted with VM 2 weeks ago and someone said it may be waiting for an update. I mentioned to them that I did the pin hole reset and turned it off for 20 minutes but the red light comes back on straight away. 
After looking at some of the other comments on this forum it seems that I would need a replacement hub. Has anyone heard of the red light meaning the hub needs an update?

  • Hey Alex245, thank you for reaching out and a very warm welcome to the community I am sorry to hear you are having some issues with a red light. 

    Please do try these steps and I will send you a DM in the meanwhile;

    • Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub.

    • Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location, and, if at all possible, out of direct sunlight.

    • Then use the power switch to turn the unit back on. The Hub should now operate normally.
