Red light on router

Hi, a few days ago I noticed the main power light on my wifi router that is normally white is now just solid red. I have tried powering it off & on several times leaving it switched off for at least half an hour, as soon as the power is restored it goes immediately red & stays like that. Also tried the reset button on the back as suggested in other posts. The unit does not appear to be getting hot either as read previous posts suggest possible overheating.

It seems to otherwise be operating as it normally does, wires connections are fine, wifi doesn’t work all the time but it’s always been like this.
