Poor download speed from PC via wifi

Hi

Trying to find out what the issue is here.

Download speed via WiFi from PC using a TP Archer nano wireless adapter is 326Mbps whereas from my mobile which is next to the PC is 629Mbps. See photos below.

PC is running Windows 10 & phone is Samsung A34.

Have a Hub 5.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Maybe the TP Archer nano wireless adapter is slow and old? get upto date one with Antennas

Most likely the very small aerials fitted to the nano adapter.  Use an Ethernet cable if speed is important.

Are the devices both using the same wifi band and the same channel bandwidth?

@Client62 has your answer above. That device can't do any better.

      It's the Archer TX20U Nano
      AX1800 Nano Wi-Fi 6 Wireless USB Adapter

Which is good for 1200 Mbps.

What the Wi-Fi link rate between the TX20U to the VM Hub ?

We all should have gone to Specsavers   legacy1  has absolutely spotted the limitation.

The TX20U is advertised as Wi-Fi 6 with quite extravagant speed claims for Wi-Fi
that can not be achieved due to it having a USB 2.0 interface to the computer.

Look for a Wi-Fi adapter with USB 3 or as this is a PC in internal Wi-Fi card is an option,
or what about using the 1Gbps NIC on the mother board.
