Ping spikes until restart router

Hey all,

for the past week or so I've been getting ping spikes every day multiple times. This issue gets fixed by restarting router but the issue can happen again. Service status in my area says nothing wrong. Here's a small snippet of network on task manager showing the packet loss/ping spikes.

Repeated VM Hub restarts do not fix anything and are best avoided.

Check the stats from the VM Hub's Upstream / Downstream tabs to see if there
are any obvious issues with signal power levels or rising error counts.

Use the link below to check the service to the VM Hub

    https://www.samknows.com/realspeed/

Once the test begins click on: Run full test to see the stats for Latency, Jitter, Packet loss etc.

The speed at the Hub should reflect your subscription.

  • Hi rikeshp

Thanks for your post. Sorry to hear of the broadband issues you've been experiencing.

I've had a look on our side and can see that a lot of your levels are outside of the normal parameters which will be what's causing this. We'll need to book in an engineer visit for you to put them right

I've popped over a PM so I can arrange this with you.

    Thanks,
